Hi guys,
PC World and Currys are clearly retarded, so thought it best to ask on here with all you knowledgeable bods!
I want to play movies and iPlayer through my TV from my Vaio laptop. They are both a good couple of years old, so I don't think they have HDMI. The TV certainly doesn't...
Hi.
So had a day off from work yesterday as I have a few to use up before I leave at the end of this month - whoop!
So anyway, I decided almost nine years of crud, tar and salt was enough for my poor arches, so decided to give them a decent going over. Sadly, the day did not quite go to plan...
Hi gang.
OK, starting from the beginning, my other half has bought a second hand, 40 year old 50mm 1.4 Canon lens. Now unsurprisingly this doesn't fit her 400D, but she is now thinking of getting an adaptor...
In my mind, this is a waste of time, so I am thinking of making her resell the item...
The last decent example/low miles etc? Interesting note about the car folder as well, if you're that anal;

There are always going to be discussions and reviews about new products, but I think this one deserves a thread in the detailing community on this site.

Hi guys,
Just a quick one for all those detailing nuts out there.
John @ PB came onto a few forums last night and mentioned the following;
"What you want is very important to us, but late last year we realised that we had started to neglect this. Our own desire to grow and shape our...

Any plans for next week you lot?
Lucky enough to have the week off work... unlucky enough to have bugger all to do except clean, mod and service the car...
Fancy giving the new found horses and new tyres a blast, so if anyone is around?
Christ I sound pathetic...:o
Currently need two new front tyres on the S3.
I would like to have all four the same, but currently running P6000 which are and have been s**t, but the rears are still on 6mm so really no need to get them off.
What are people finding as the best tyre at the moment? PZeros? PE2/3s? ContiSports?
As in the title really! Came to upload a photo to an album in Facebook, after update this evening to the app and there is no usual icon??

Quite incredible! Doesn't mean I will be going to it, as I have access to the necessary equipment, but certainly an impressive outcome!
This really deserves its own thread IMO. It has been mentioned before, but over the weekend I had a spare five minutes to actually wash the car and use this product.
The idea behind it is plain and simple - it is a permanent solution to dull trim, rather than reapplying gels and finishing...
Hi,
Does anyone (who is a Vodafone customer) currently use the Wifi on Virgin Trains, via the TMobile HotSpot?
Perhaps I am being a little thick, but my Vodafone account comes with Free mobile Wifi via BTOpenZone. And BT OpenZone is an option that you can select in the drop down box from the...

Hi.
I don't have the time. Very good friends Brera is in desperate need of a blitz. Lots of marring, but nothing more serious than that. Lime Prime will sort it but I just don't have the time and he is fairly useless. Talked about evening panel by panel, but not sure it's worth it.

Bird droppings are acidic, not basic...
I was always under the impression that due to:
NH3 + H2O <-> NH4+ + OH-
this creates Ammonia ions, which are circa pH7-9. However, due to the birds actually producing Uric Acid, unlike Urea from humans.
Cool :cool:
Oh and I learnt a new term...
