look, you seem to have all the answers, but they don't seem to be right, i never paid for installation, simple.
and the £6.95 package i think it was that i had (which was the lowest package but included pretty much everything anyway) meant i got setanta free, why is it so many people seem to...
Re: iPhone "must have" apps?
ah, i think i have missed something then as I wasn't aware the iphone had gps built in, thought it was totally based on GPRS.
So is it like in the nokias, a GPS-A?
Re: iPhone "must have" apps?
i can't see how this satnav can be any good.
Even when walking in london with the google maps directions feature it struggled to keep up with my walking (and I am no fast walker lol).
how does it keep up with 80mph? and doesn't it rely on a constant data...
nah, doesn't come out of your download limit, the hub is intelligent enough to know which traffic is which, hence it is able to apply QOS to the streaming traffic.
Lots of series come and go on there, i don't really browse any of them tbh as i just use the replay function when i miss something...
i agree, i was dubious about how good streaming was going to be over my bt broadband but i was well impressed, it was flawless, started within about 2-3 seconds and never missed a beat.
They have implemented QOS well as even if my flatmate is maxing out our line with downloads it takes priority...
yes, doesn't make btvision cost anything though does it smart arse.
you need a bt or sky line for sky and you're going to have broadband.
most households have a phoneline and BB, this option is only open to bt customers, sky is only open to people who pay extorniate amounts of money and have a...
Thats right tom, free, i didn't pay a penny for the box or installation and i don't pay a subscription any more either, i stopped the pack i was paying as i never watched any of the on demand stuff.
I don't pay each month. That to me is FREE
Re: iPhone accessory must haves?
after your recommendation i have gone for an FX in green, nice case, didn't bother with the screen protector though as its mirrired and the screen looks weird through it.
case is good though
FLOL @ comparing it to sky.
Its nothing like sky, for a start its FREE!
I love bt vision, had it in for 3 years now and will be sad to see it go in a couple of weeks when i move house and don't have bt broadband as thats its main downfall, must have bt broadband, great, until you no longer...
just got my pac code through, thank god.
some people are now being denied them, phoning up cus service and they say they didn't cancel and because of the turnaround now can't get their pac, others just haven't got it after a week.
one guy cancelled yesterday and they were sending him his pac...
wheres this tarif then as the one on their website is £30 a month for that, and thats only if you do it online.
http://shop.orange.co.uk/mobile-phones/price-plans/pay-monthly
and to me, 500 texts is unlimited, i only use about 70 a month:o
Re: iPhone AppStore must haves?
The Price is Right, brilliant game, just like the tv show (the american version) including video footage of the items and prizes, makes it quite big at 350mb but its a great app
i don't understand what is wrong with o2's tarifs, they are better than oranges!
with orange my bill was pennies under £35, and for that i got 150 mins and 200 texts i beleive, that did include £5 orange care though. My data was terrible, to get usage during the day (the time when i need it) i...
negative ghostrider, people justify not buying the iphone by thinking its no better, but why are so many people buying it and paying lots of money for it if its no better than all the 'free' phones?
I have one, its better.
erm, yeah, thats generally how phone contracts work, you only get a free phone if its s**t or you get a 24 month contract or a high monthly bundle.
iphone is so much more than a normal phone though, so its worth it
its mentioned in this thread a few times, only affects out of bundle minutes (so when you go over your minutes and when making 08 calls)
basically they are lowering the priice of these calls but at the same time making the minimum call charge 1 minute (15p) instead of the 5p it is at the...
i was gonna use quidco for my iphone but you can't get them online at the moment so had to use a dirty stinking real life shop, wasa horrible experience and cost me more but i just couldn't wait lol
again, its only outside of your minutes though.
like i said, if you regularly go over, orange will recommend a new plan on their best plan text every few months so wouldn't really be a problem. Upping your tarif would be cheaer than paying extra each month.
don't start until the middle of september, but unless you are on for less than a minute it won't affect you anyway, its only the minumum call charge thats changing.
And in fact, when the minimum rate goes up, the price per minute goes down so people who stay on for longer than a minute to those...
