Yeah they don't rust, but they do get that white furry corrosion on them.

Not ideal, but they can be used if the bolts are tightened right up otherwise they can slip. Where as with the tabbed washer there's no where for it to slip to because the tab inside fills the gap.

Yeah either paint or underseal, depends on the application. In your case just underseal.

Need to wire brush any loose rust and then brush the Hydrate80 on. It neutralises the rust, turning it a black-ish colour. It does work. The metal then needs painting to protect it.

The 15mm spacers are your problem then.

Have a look to see how much area it covers, should tell you somewhere.

Bilt Hamber stuff is the dog's b****cks for rust treatment and protection. I've used their Hydrate80 rust convertor in the past as well as the Detox C rust removal stuff.

General all purpose cleaner or fabric cleaner on the belts, work in with something like a nail brush. Pull them all the way out and trap them in the door and pressure wash off or you could use the wet vac to extract them.

I have the non res but decatted too. You'd wake the neighbors when you start it put it that way. Settles down when the idle drops though.
