So managed to pick up another box with a quaife diff in so we were on the night shift trying to get it sorted the night before Snett. Finished at 12.30am
The difference with the diff is huge. So much better out of the corners. Was a bit worried about how different it was going to...
Personally I would try and get another set of wheels either 15 or 16 and put some proper track tyres like r888r's on there. I'm not sure what people use for both track and road I've never done it.
Loads of people use 16's and are absolutely fine. Think most use 15's because they are lighter, you can run a more track focus'd geo with them and tyres are generally cheaper.

Not trying to be an ass but are the trendlines rated for harness use? Seen some pretty nasty pictures of crashes with reclining seats and a harness and the seat has failed and snapped in half.
@andy_con 's pedals went on today with the extra wide throttle pedal. Hopefully will inprove my heel/toe 🙈
New disks up front. And trying to refit the brake ducts better. All getting ready for Snett on the 8th.
Regards the whiteline rarb some people undo it in the wet. I haven't tried that yet. The only time I've lost the back end was in the p****** rain with it still engaged.
Spend it on suspension. Get everything polybushed. Set of b14 or bc racing coilovers with solid top mounts, whiteline rarb and a track geo setup for 15's (ditch the 16's) and it will be a lot more fun on track.
Ahhh we bailed on it in the end for a number of reasons. And just as well I think I saw the organisers on Facebook and it looked soaked. I didn't really fancy learning Silverstone in the rain.
Couple of snaps from brands today...
Car behaved itself, really enjoyed the circuit and had a blast. Think I've nackered one of the front disks as I'm getting a lot of juddering/vibration under breaking. So I've ordered some new disks and will go from there. Nice to be taking the car out...
In swear I've seen people on my Facebook feed fail an mot, sell it and then buy another car for 1/2k with a brand new mot, and then repeat the process in the next 1/2 years when that one fails the mot. Seems like they think they are saving money.
I don't get this mentality of "it failed an mot I need to sell it". You'd be doing well for a car that age to pass every mot it has now. You can get all those parts here on the cheap. Plus there is a million breaking on eBay.
