Nope. They produce washing up liquid bubbles rather than a thick shaving foam consistency. The former is no better than throwing a bucket of soapy water over the car ie it just runs off. The latter clings, works on dirt and falls away from the paint after 5-10 mins.
The Karcher ones are not a snow foam lance. They are an additive attachment, much like the clear hoses attached to the side of old Karchers.
Buy from a detailing site - CYC, I4D etc
Not that it matters, now you've ordered one, but these were always superior to the Karcher equivalent as they had metal impellors in the pump rather than the plastic that failed all the time. I believe, however, Karcher have updated their design, but it's still left the majority of the detailing...
Cheers fella. Have a lad coming to see it on Saturday with the intention of buying - getting the train from Notts. Hope he's pleased with it, I've spent enough making sure it stays in tip top condition!

Price Reduced as New Car Bought - £4,000
It is time to part with my Audi S3. I have owned the car for over four years and in that time have spared no expense on consumables, preventative maintenance and...
Waxing over a sealant is not detrimental. But to answer the question, if it's looks you're after, Zaino. If it's beading, C2V3 (can be watered down to use as a QD).
Not sure of the point in re-dying a (most likely) cheap mat...?
Just an effective clean will help as the fibres are likely to be stuck down with dirt.
More likely is they are cheap mats and there is nothing you can do to replace worn out mats except replace them. If they wear out quickly, buy...
In Ter Esting...! Only met him the one time (with you in fact, Ste, when I was seeing the misses at Birmingham Uni if you recall).
OP, go to Jim White.
And the cost of the equipment, and time taken to learn etc etc...
Since you're in Essex, @ben_r1 can I suggest you come and see @Scrooge - he is one of very few hobbyists that I would take my car to, now I no longer have the time.
Not sure I quite understand here, chap. Are you trying to get crayon off paint work, or off the chalk?
If the former, something that dissolves the wax that crayons are made of, e.g. tar remover such as ObliTARate or Tardis. Failing that, it will hand polish out with something as simple as...
As the widely considered best and most well known line of products in this area, why do you say that, out of curiosity?
Appreciate its all down to personal experience!
Lovely! Very jealous. I was talking to @Waitey about his at the weekend!
If memory serves you and Carl are brothers? I can't remember which of you had the replica 172 in Nautical blue, same as mine? We chatted a long time ago...?!
Agreed with all the above. Such a special colour and looks great with the CSLs. Willing to bet we've all made bad modding choices at 22, so I'll go with a hats off to you for being able to afford one at that age! Blows my old 1.2 sport replica out of the water at the same age!
The simple answer here is Hydr02, surely. It's not a detailing spray, but it does what you've asked without having to buff. Spray on, jet wash off, @Daniel can tell you more.
Exactly this. You'll spend £75 on products or a specialist and they might not even touch it.
This is no better than the headlights with a drill "trick". You have no idea of speed or heat you're creating with this method and are far more likely to damage the laminated glass than correct it. I'd...
