Had the front wheels off today to fit new pads. Got the Hammerite out and did the calipers while I was about it. Then had the rears off to paint them too.

from my limited knowledge, i'd say if you get confirmation that it's an import, point this out to the seller. offer around 4900, and be prepared to walk away. or at least act like you are :) it's more a buyers market at the moment, and if he knows you know it's an import, he'll have to weigh up...

if it turns out to be an import, one difference may be it doesn't come with a factory alarm. another could be a slight, or not so slight, difference in overall spec. you'll also get some (daft) insurers either loading a potential premium, or refusing to insure it. usually this can be down to a...
