Ahh, if it's started up from jumping I think that would rule out the earths as I don't think you'd get anything if it was that. Good luck finding what it is though :)
That that was me :D, seen you around a few times but didnt expect you'd be on here. Nice looking car you have there mate, kept on looking at it through my rear mirror haha :)
Nahh, didn't manage to get the alarm to go off but I really think its that. The wires look like there connecting up under there and wrapped all in insulation tape so it must be for the alarm. The sensors are different than standard but I dont know why it would be changed.
I'm thinking it's something to do with the alarm, I don't think it's standard and some wires running from this loom down here are running to the led light and to the sensors.
The wires pretty much come through the car into the footwell area, connect to some thee things and are just looped back...
Anyone any idea what this is? Found it up in the passenger footwell,
Along with some of the loom with tape wrapped on and an inline 15amp fuse down there going to something. Time for a closer look,
Hi, does anyone know the part number / price of a new coolant bottle, mine seems wet on the bottle seal and I'm loosing coolant slowly. I think it's this.. I'm hoping it's this !
Cheers
You probably won't find it already made up mate, you'll have to get it mixed. Look at the sticky at the top of this section tells you how to find your paint code then you can get it mixed right. Halfords do it but they're expensive and from past experience haven't mixed it up well. I've used...
What you're doing seems right, if the orange / green light is coming on when you turn them middle 'switch' on the indicator stalk then they should come on. Check that the bulbs are alright / connections connected as they should be from the fogs.
Just found this out what I forgot about, my car has the traction control / abs / service light on.
This started from when I got the car back from a gearbox change. I don't think the abs light was on at first I think it came afterwards but I'm not totally sure.
What do you think needs doing...
Had a similar problem with family's 61reg grand scenic. Wind took it and that happened. Window also wouldn't play right. Took it into Renault who adjusted it and it's now fine. They did say watch out and be extra careful as it has made it weaker and could end up needing a new hinge if it happens...
The fault code was looked at by a garage I took it to, he gave me a print out but can't find it anywhere! I have an obd2 reader and tried a couple of decent pieces of software. it reads the car and details of it but doesn't come up with any fault codes which is strange.
Mine is the same, had he gear box changed and since then these lights have been on, the fault code comes up as the steering angle sensor but I refuse to believe it is that if the wheel hasn't even been off ?
