You need to have both wheels off the ground to it, can't do one side at a time, so both sides of the car need to be supported at the same time, then you need a jack to lift the axle back up to do up the dampers.
I just wack the jack in the centre of the rear beam and jack it up high, then place...
I've got a Magnex on at the moe, happy with it, but i think it's started to rattle.
Now if i buy something else i want it to sound as quiet as possible.
What are the options.
You need one jack and 2 axle stands.
Won't be able to do it with just 2 jacks?
Jack car up in the middle of the beam, place 2 axle stands under sills/jacking point, lower onto axle stands.
Undue dampers, then lower the rear beam with the jack used to jack it up.
Not another thread on this, check out the vosa MOT info on the 172 cup.
And rear pads sticking on after a few day with the handbrake on? If so every car i've had does this, it's the pads binding to the discs because the disc is rusting.

According to that invoice the cambelt has not been changed?
There is no major service either, there all the same, unless it's a belt change.
I think coolant and brake fluid get changed a 4 years to.
