Thats what I did, using NetworkManager but its still an early version and it randomly drops the connection/wont connect at times. Haven't got round to updating it yet.
There is one out, but SE haven't officially released it yet. There are a couple of websites where you can buy the update and flash it but i'd rather not f**k it up as it could void warrenty if it goes wrong. Sites are wontan server and davinci team (I think).
I use it on my laptop most of the time instead of windows. Very good but I struggled to get wireless working with WPA as its a belkin card who wont release official drivers for it  Only a couple of other small niggles.
ur not having much luck recently are u. Read before that the rear wheel arches can leak as they sometimes haven't been sealed correctly. Not sure if that would mean water under the bench though..
Wouldn't bother with sky atm, I was supposed to be migrated from my old isp on the 15th Nov and it never happened. Still waiting for a phone call which they said would happen within 5 days, its now day 12+counting..
Re: Ill kill the little tw*t!
How did u get that, is it something extra provided by your insurer or a seperate company? Id have that cover if I could get it, my car was recently damaged by some little t***s.
I know how u feel just finished installing 17 new machines at my work. Wasn't much rush so I only did 1-2 a day usually. You can get the older version of ghost to work with SATA drives (7.5 at least) just needs a -noide switch then it will boot up. Oh and the drivers have to be in legacy mode...
not much u can do with regards to speed if the drive itself if nackered, other than doing a scan disk to see if it will speed it up but that will probably take a day itself at that speed. Don't know if it will write to a DVD as it's probably too slow to retreive the data to put on the dvd as it...
People usually get what the car would be worth if it were to be sold in its current conditon (before crash). So if ur dad was going to sell it the day he crashed it how much would he have sold it for? Would have thought he would get more than 30k cant see the car loosing 7k in a month.
Unlucky, some chavs pulled my wingmirror off the other night and made a dent in the door so I know how u feel. Hope u get it sorted, mine is sellotaped on till I can be arsed to fix/replace it.
Hope the update comes out as advertised. I was informed an update would be out for the k800 nearly 2 months ago and its still not on SEUS :( Service centres have it but charge to update :S
yes that helps alot cheers. Ill phone and tell them I know someone who has migrated and it just worked like it should, then see if they do anything about it.
Thats exactly what I said to them and they said no u have to cancel. Ill ring em back and try again, getting fed up of waiting on hold for them :dapprove: I ordered the MAC on the 6th and gave it sky the same day. I also received a letter from sky saying BT had advised them of the migration...
I gave my MAC code to sky and they told me that my broadband would be switched from my current provider to sky on the 15th. Its now the 21st and I still haven't been migrated, my connection is still working on my old ISP. The 1st time I phoned sky they said 'oh yeah u have been migrated, plug...
Blown 3 headlight bulbs on the same side in less than 2months. Could there be anything causing this or have I just been unlucky? Is there anything I can check?
Thanks
Don't have the belkin 1 anymore and cant remember which 1 it was. Depends how ur connection is set up currently and how it will be with BT. If ur using a modem that came with NTL it will work for both but u will have to buy just a modem for your BT line to plug into the router. These are...
Probably just someone doing a random search on your ip range. The firewall has ovbiously detected and stopped it so probably nothing to worry about unless it carries on doing it.
