Just read that Gtechniq Crystal Serum has a hardness rating of 7-9 on the Mohs scale. So he's either had your pants down and not applied it OR it's been applied wrong and failed.

I'd also say that just because the coating has been applied and the water is sheeting off, doesn't mean it's fully cured properly. Needs to be in a heated room iirc. Black gold is normally hard as f**k too as with most Renault paints.

Yeah the handbrake light would bring the stop light on if you started driving with it partially on.

STOP light usually comes on with another light, to indicate a certain fault.

I don't get any juddering, it's just a slight rumble as you can feel the pads biting into the grooves which is what you want for stopping power.

All depends on the cars setup, driving style and track. Minimum 1-2 days, but really 5 should be achievable.
