lol old ones were 2.0 8v very slow, the other old ones were 2.0 16v same a a williams but due to the weight was a bit slow.
Newer ones had the 2.0 16v with 130ish bhp and are rubbish or there was a 2.0 ide which is rubbish
should have no trouble with him
Sounds very internal to me, if it was me i would build the revs and slip the clutch to see if it does move. You never know if it might come out of gear.
i drove it really hard when i had a play in it, drove fine clutch was a bit too stiff for my liking. engines are well built imo, gearboxes are weaker on the ph1s i think we have had a few with noisey diff's. Rear springs tend to snap, as do front ones. thats proberly the main points.
