Yeah a black plug type thing.
On the rear they're behind the disc in the hub and the abs rings are part of the disc.
On the front they're on the hub and the abs rings are part of the drive shaft.
It looks like an M8 12.9 high tensile socket cap bolt, so it should be strong enough. Although I do prefer to mount the seat and belt mounting seperately.
It does look like toe in as Tom said, but if it's just happening on one side then i'm not sure.
It would be happening on both sides if it was just the toe though. Something else looks wrong.
Yeah it was great. Very good standards on track compared to some of the days i've done on Oulton.
Windscreen got cracked in the top corner from some gravel that was pouring out the back of a VX220 though
Was going to come over and see you, but I was having too much fun. :tongueclosed:
You're best loosening the top mount while the car is on the ground, so that there is less load on the mount.
They usually require an impact gun just to buzz them off though.
I use the length of a screwdriver slotted into the groove of the piston.
The caliper is on a slider too, which allows a bit of side to side movement. That should help you get the pads in if you have a tight space on one side.
When you said you had some overspray from the underseal I thought you meant a bit on the lower sills/door.
But that's a proper piss take! I would be raging.
You can get clip on harnesses that attach to eyelet bolts that screw into the seatbelt holes.
You'll need high tensile bolts to attach the subframe to the car. Minimum of 8.0 tensile, but 10.9 or 12.9 if you can.
I had one like that on my old 1.2 years ago. Heated it up and got a suction cup on it and most of it pulled out.
You can't make it any worse doing that, put it that way.
