Finally picked up a 5 last week. I wasn't planning to upgrade now, but this one was new and was very cheap. Battery isn't great is it lol. I'm loving it though. So much quicker than my 4.

I've just counted up all non-essential purchases. Came to about £800, which isn't bad. Helps that I took the cup spoiler & exhaust off my last Clio to put onto this, which doesn't really count as a direct cost.

Update Just got back from Mick @ Diamond Motors. Epic service as always. Had my new Ktec engine & gearbox mounts fitted, as well as a genuine throttle cable. Car feels transformed. I don't know why I was worried about vibration. It's pretty much made zero difference in that respect. Feels soo...

Impulse purchase tbf ;). At the end of the day, they don't lose too much value, so if I really hate them, then I can always sell them on for a small loss anyway and go OEM. It'll certainly make things much tighter anyway, which is what my main aim is atm. Powerflex bushes next.
