£36 with CS discount (for each set of 4), which is pretty much as cheap as you can get them anyway.
They're the NGK ones that everyone buys, just in Renault packaging.
The more I look at them, the more I want one now.
Just a side note, id want to use it for some work purposes too (i.e. planning sessions etc and potentially using as a visual for clients, for example if they ask for something, I can quickly whack on Safari and look with them).
Are there any...
Service bits arrived today for both Sy's and my car.
God knows what the CDs are though. Renault decided to charge me £25 extra for some reason too. Maybe those discs we're expensive and not freebies afterall lol.
Just waiting for my Pipercross filter to be delivered and then we can DO THIS...
I genuinely think ill be getting one of these. I wanted an iPad again, just for general browsing that I do, but can't really afford to fork out £500 for something I don't really need. £269 changes things though. Small enough for me to comfortably take around everywhere too!
Early Christmas...
Yesterday, I cleaned off some bird s**t and had to polish my front bumper, due to the OH deciding it'd be a good idea to ram it. Luckily, it was only a few small marks that were easily polished out.
Awesomes!! Cheers matey. I need to convince my brother to get it on track, seeing as he now has 2 GTi's. ;)
Have you got any more info on it? Any mods that it used to have or anything?
Cheers guys! :)
Looks much better than what it was. He has quite a lot to sort if he is to make it mint though.
I really don't know. Maybe. Or some really hardcore tar. Literally nothing touched it. I picked a bit off with my nail, to try and determine what it was and even that was an effort...
CS vs Food IV - Pit and Pendulum
Right, finally got round to making this thread. The forth CS vs Food meet is upon us...
Location: Pit and Pendulum (some gothy pub in the centre of Nottingham)
Date: I think the 7th November was agreed in the last thread (i'm going to have to check i'm not...
Yup. He owns a red GTi, but got jealous of my 'flower, so went and bought this one too. lol
Our parents obviously did something seriously wrong... :rasp:
Yesterday, I had the pleasure of detailing my brother's 106 GTi. He hasn't owned it long and it certainly needed a good going over.
Process was as follows:
- Got rid of all the gay stickers
- Clean the wheels (Bilberry wheel cleaner)
- Snow Foam (hit a stumbling block at this point...)
- Wash
-...
I hate to say it, but it looks f**king amazing!
I do agree slightly with the haterz though. I think the pics make the front wheels look a bit too spaced. Maybe could have done with a few mm less. Awesome nevertheless.
Silver bullets, with black strips, wouldn't look right against the car. Too many colours across the paint. Plus, they're Ph2.
Cheers matey. It's actually starting to have a nice covering of dirt now, so is starting to look duller ;).
Ill try and get down on Sunday if I can.
