I have a 3Gs and it's terrible, the battery doesn't last more than a day.

Do you run it with the brightness on full? Seems to be the only thing that effects mine. Lasts a decent amount of time otherwise.

sounds like sticky thermostat.. sticking open.

grinding could be because you need new rear pads. if it's a wheel bearing then be careful, or it can go horribly wrong if not sorted .

Get and oil pressure and temp gauge, you'll soon realise just how long it takes for the oil to get completely up to temperature. A lot longer than you'd expect, and well after the water is up to temperature.

Love that first shot. I had the very same wheels on my fiesta in bright orange, suit it well. I have that very same scrape on my bumper, thanks to an inconsiderate person parking behind me and not looking where they were going when pulling out. Very annoying.
