This is the guy who was setup in his parents garage IIRC and was featured on the news recently. I wouldn't be taking the R8 to him, purely as it's not in his pay grade (too low). So not sure he would even touch a Trophy (this is not meant in an offensive way!!). He is Veyron/Lambo/Top level...
Waste of the Bilberry lad.
Decent brushes would be the Melody ones;

But you can use pretty much anything within reason... I usually take the wheels off so it allows for smaller brushes to be used in the more intricate...
Up until recently you were not allowed to buy it from the shop. It's only for professional/trained useage. See no reason why the Gen Pop can't use it now, however. After all, we were all scared of machine polishing paint at some stage in our lives!
I would only go and do what you've done fella and ask DW, so can't really help more than that.
The bloke on DW seems to think it looks like a Bosch one though...

Decent brushes required as well. Remember to get some decent protection on all parts as well, making it easier to clean next time (metal polish, plastic trim gels etc).
Re: What have you ordered?
Sonus pads are great for newbies, as they last ages and ages. Not keen on the PB SSR range, personally, but you'll find one line of polishes that works best for you and most likely stick by them!
No joke buddy, I meant about the longevity of the product. I know it's good on bodywork, but wasn't sure on them withstanding the heat as well as something like Blackfire Metal Sealant or PB WS.
Get those changed! I thought Andy had H&Rs on there?
With the amount of correction required, definitely a rotary!
Interesting that the paint was so hard Jim... I had a DB7 (granted a Y reg so quite a lot older) and the paint was very soft. I swapped to the DA purely for ease as it had enough cut! I'll drag out some photos...
