Can you buy those double ended bolts which screw into the bottom of the box and also have a thread on the other end for attaching to the engine?
Only my box is missing them all and its rather undriveable without them :(
Just cleaning up a caliper before I put it back on the car, is there any way for me to wind the caliper piston out as far as possible for me to clean it? I haven't got any hoses connected but it still seems to be pretty well stuck in :(
Just need the rubber bits that go on the sliders... re-seal kits cost an arm and a leg don't they? Surely some where must sell them cheap, they only cost about 10p to make??
Just sent my 3 phone off for repair and I still have my old K750i but it won't work with my 3 sim as its locked for orange I think... can I download software to unlock it or anything?
Rather than using those gay circlip-type-jobs would there be any problems using a jubilee clip on the ends of the boots? or would it be better to use big cable ties?
Been doing the torsion bar on the clio and seen a lot of mention of using a slide hammer to remove it? Was looking at some on ebay and im guessing they're used for dent removal as well?
How do they work?
Just lowered the valver at the back but mate asking if I could have a look at lowering his 106gti at the rear, I've just had a quick browse through a few sites and it looks a bit more complicated than the valver :(
Anyone done one before, how hard is it? Any guides anywhere? There is one on...
Wanted to get one to carry round as the Renault scissor jack is about as useful as an inflatable dartboard, bought one from amazon and now when I tried it, it doesnt fit under the fcking car
Does anyone carry a jack round incase of having to change a wheel, whats the best one to go for?
So leading on from my other post, until I can get another drive shaft, whats the best way to temporarily mend a split boot? its about 2cm long, the rubber has just cracked over time and now split :(
I was thinking super glue over it (did this last time worked quite well) then maybe some kind...
Need a throttle body for a valver/williams urgent as mine just broke, round bristol area? Anyone got one or know a scrappy with a williams/valver in round south west?
ps mods please don't move the thread until tomorrow as no one checks the wanted section and I need this asap! thanks ;)
As above really, need a new one but which ones will fit, ie williams/RT/19 etc? Also anyone know what rating the valver one is and how much it would cost to get one refurbed by an electrician?
As above, one of my HDDs just failed and the whole setup (2ghz p4 512mb RDRAM) is shafted and getting old, want to upgrade to something newer, might as well as im wiping it all and starting again!
Anyway been looking at getting a bundle including the mobo/cpu/ram, don't really wanna spend...
Need to remove the braided hose from the pipe to add a spring clip in which I broke, but obviously when I take it off its going to piss fluid out everywhere! Anything I can do to stop the fluid coming out, havent really got anything to bung it with :(
Valver 92 plate, the bit in the arch that clips the brake pipe to the inside of the arch to stop it rattling about? Its located pretty much directly behind the shock on the road-wheel side of the arch!
Cheers ;)
Specifically this one?

Bought one from ebay the other day which looked pretty good and wasn't a cheapo fag lighter job, but its totally useless and cheap crap, wouldn't...
Reason I ask is I recently got some braided hoses from a renault 19 16v very cheap (front hoses) so they are the same fitting but appear to be slightly longer?
Is this going to cause problems?
