Are you asking aboutthe rear bumper or front one? Rear fits straight on. I found it was a little tough getting the wheel arches to fit flush straight away but it just took some wiggling

After having had my original wheel off and seeing the placement without the column part with the 'teeth' - I have already concluded the wheel is way off centre. If the teeth are off centre - then the wheel will be. And thats definitely the problem in my case
