lol, tbh, guys - I really dont have a clue. My boyfriend was going on about spending 100 quid on tyres earlier - didnt realise they were that dear. Tyres for 17s. Dont know much else - normal Clio width?!
If this makes sense to anyone!:
Where have you found good quality tyres for a reasonable price?
I dont know much about tyres - but will be needing them soon and dont have too much to spare - even though I want something durable and long lasting
The oint was i thought it would be helpful for people to see all the different ones you can put on them (preferably renaults ones) with all the different cars on here. So people looking to buy a car/alloys can have a taster
Hi, this might be a long shot, but I was wondering if we could get pics of all the different alloys that Renault do for this car. Would be really helpful for some to see them on different cars and I know it would give me a good idea too. Saw some Anthracites today on a black clio(like mine) and...

This is the 32" form that range iirc, perhaps one model number out (two model sizes up from mine) all HD ready with HDMI
To know if its really any good - you need to find a spec to tell you a response time.
For any quality - you really need 16rms or less.
I have a 26" Sharpe Aquos with repsonse time of 12ms. Its the best set out there for the price (about 750, it depends, as i got mine for 640)
The...
I think we've had this before with extremes (or was it dynamiques?) I've got rears in my extreme, so by assumption I'd say the loom is there somewhere.
Although, can I ask why you want rear speakers? I mean, in terms of SQ you might as well leave the rear fill as it'll pull the soundstage...
Like I said, mk2 ph2.
I've got mk1 seats going in and will need to change the airbags connectors (which, as yet, I've got no idea about) so it will have a bit of that kind of thing in
Probably wont be until December when I have a big break from uni
If I made one when doing my seats would anyone want it?
Just wondered if I should bother :)
Purely as theres no advice here for me and it might well help others in the future, especially with the mk2 ph2 soon becoming the 'old model'
For those of you saying 'biting my tongue' - dont be so silly. Did you need to type that at all? Its still a negative comment as you're obviously making it obvious what you think
I'm not a big fan of done up cars myself, but overall the bodywork seems to have been done quite well, there
Only...
Are you asking aboutthe rear bumper or front one?
Rear fits straight on. I found it was a little tough getting the wheel arches to fit flush straight away but it just took some wiggling
I'm NOT a chav!! I just like my car to look pretty as possible
Now, I just this minute saw a black megane with a rear numberplate which had a black background and silver letters. Is this legal? Because it looked quite nice
What other things can be done which are legal and improve boring...
Mottled side strip - could that not be due to getting car polish on it?
I appreciate that this is naff for you. I also have bad experience with both dealerships and renault uk - they have both lies to me and called me a liar.
Go independent - Its just not worth it otherwise
I'm glad I live somewhere where this kinbd of problem doesnt often arrive - because my car is normally in the garage but has to come out for a few months as we're moving house and need the soace to sort stuff
It feels like a violation when this kind of thing happens
After having had my original wheel off and seeing the placement without the column part with the 'teeth' - I have already concluded the wheel is way off centre. If the teeth are off centre - then the wheel will be. And thats definitely the problem in my case
Thats what 90% of the people I know said who have had crashes and seen their kit go flying and break/hit someone. Velcro - of whatever strength - IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH. Think of the amount of force the car undrgoes during a collision. Strong bits of fabric which intertwine together will not hold...
I dont trust dealerships. Mine lied to me and trading standards on several occasions and were verbally insulting just so they could try to get out of trouble with small claims over Items I bought which werent correct and they wouldnt return
I think you lot should learn some manners, or at least to hold your tongues
I agree some of the thread's author posts were a bit arsy - but only because people immediatly jumped on his back being downright rude!! Its like you are being Elitist without anything really to justify it
The man...
Sorry for the complete rudeness of the other members, miketog172
My car is pearl black and has lights which arent really Lexus but are made by renault - called crystal/chrome or something
I can send a pic by email, if you pm it to me - but I cant post it as I'm tired of people's 'flock of...
