Legal numberplate options?

I'm NOT a chav!! I just like my car to look pretty as possible

Now, I just this minute saw a black megane with a rear numberplate which had a black background and silver letters. Is this legal? Because it looked quite nice

What other things can be done which are legal and improve boring old plates?

just have the font in Aerial (regular, not bold) its smar, and not bloody chav-o-fied

oh the you car has to be a certain age to have the black numberplate, if the cops see u with it on, they will tell u to take it off.. but u can buy it..

yeh someone just told me it was older than 1972 or something.....

True.

You can get them cut round to an 11mm border round the letters, which makes them stand out a bit
