I had these on while waiting for some new tyres for the turinis, ruined the car but served a purpose! these are 7x17 et 35 with no scrubage at all.

lightweight 15's and 195/45's will help...............17's kill the RS clio's IMO.

the cable is fine chap, when the tester was pulling the handbrake on and off while it was up on the ramps I could see the actuators on both sides moving.

i've used brembo HC discs and greenstuff pads up front on my cup and I rate this setup for the road.

well the cup was in for it's first test today having covered 15020 miles in a fraction under 3 years and it failed........the problem was not the usual CUP failure of compensating valve nor was it rear foot brake inneficiency but a non working handbrake on the N/S. This is after having the rear...

happened to me first day I had the car!!!!, mate was looking under the bonnet then he drops it onto the latch and uses his knuckles to knudge the bonnet shut! hay presto 4 or 5 wee dents along the front of my bonnet....................still there to this day :-(

well it looks as if my cup may have succumed to the infamous TDC sensor fault, for the last couple of weeks the missus has complained about poor starting and complete refusals to start when she was going to work/lunchtimes etc. To be honest I never really bothered as it had never happened to me...

the corrosion on the front discs is not surface stuff as I think you seem to be assuming but more like large pits all over the inner side of the disc.
