32 with a 172 cup and the bloke who had it before me was 72 and his wife same age had a CTR..........................never too old!!!........he said he found the acceleration envigorating lol.
my cup has just turned 3 years old and is on 15K and a wee bit, I replaced the front discs and pads around 13.5k, a few weeks ago with the MOT looming I realised I was gonna need rear discs due to corrosion (cup problem) and I rang renault uk and argued the case. I managed to get rear discs and...
the cable is fine chap, when the tester was pulling the handbrake on and off while it was up on the ramps I could see the actuators on both sides moving.
well the cup was in for it's first test today having covered 15020 miles in a fraction under 3 years and it failed........the problem was not the usual CUP failure of compensating valve nor was it rear foot brake inneficiency but a non working handbrake on the N/S. This is after having the rear...

i've had a go with a couple of the 2.5 v6 w,x plate sort of jobs and they didn't really trouble me at all up to a ton then I lifted off, no 100+ driving for me I like my licence too much.
my 53 plate cup has only covered 14000 miles and I still have 2yrs warranty left as I was given the full 3yr warranty when I bought it 1 year ago having only covered 7500 from new. The thing is all four discs are badly corroded!! the fronts only on the inside so I never noticed until I had the...
