When ya accelerate in say 3rd/4th gear, how does ya engine sound?
Just wondering if they all sound the same and whether mine sounds like its supposed to.
Yeah ya just get the fan kick in and a whoooy sound for a while and then it cuts off, i tend to give it few second coz im used to driving a R5 GT Turbo.
I always expect the 16v to tear away at low revs, but they need a bit more oooph dont they. Good once in the higher revs though, lovely after...
If ya wanted, GDi could put a GTT in ya Clio.
They do work on Clio engines too.

My point was that low capacity engines were designed as run-around cars not for racing, cars designed for racing are strengthened so ragging a 1.2 seems pointless, better off practicing the handling rather than ragging it.
Which suits the valver the mst?

What an arse, he didnt have the sense to just go elsewhere rather than risk it, his own car too. Maybe the fitter should have found a more suitable stopping place for the job. Shame with any car let alone a new one.
