Well its made out of the same stuff as the 172 exhaust is. (apart from the exit pipes)
I that defo is not Stainless steel. Its the most rubbish quility of steel ive seen, which makes a really annoying noise when it heats up and cools down.

Mine does this. Warning light is on, but it gets Stuck between 3k and 5k sits there for a few seconds...

Omce warm I thrashed mine to the max from day one.
Only been back to Renault 5 times since (in a year) so I think thats a good job done.

Turning circle shouldnt put you off buying a car !! After all it has got power steering.

Lol a V10 clio. Should be as fun as the V6 Twin Turbo im planning.
I think it a general 172/182 thing. My gearbox is VERY loose. (like in 3rd i can give it 2inchs of waggle either way)
Sigh.... although until something actually brakes I doubt Renault will care.
Take it out NOW and rag the bloddy nutts off it.
My 172 had 8 miles on it when it hit the rev limiter for the first time. 20k on and its still pulling strong.
