For anyone wanting to get legit student discount at places....
1. Buy a crappy language course off Groupon or a Groupon like website. I bought this one for a tenner...
Sorry mate I don't get what you mean? Google Keep functionality is shared between the Reminders app and Notes app on iOS. Unless Google put something new in there since the last time I used it?
Very easy, just link up your current gmail account and it'll sync over. But if you wanted to leave the Google eco system you could download the contact cards from Gmail and upload them to iCloud.
As the topic says really - is this possible? I swear I read somewhere they stopped you from doing it but can't find anything to give me a straight answer.
Ta!
Had the phone since Saturday. Today is the first time I've found the battery acceptable (first day with my usual usage). Not been on iOS for 3 years but I've been finding it a joy to use. I'll give it a couple more weeks before I decide which direction to go and if the battery is acceptable for...
The reason for the Nexus devices is to get users to use the Google ecosystem. A SD slot will prevent people from using Google Drive so you'll never see one in a Nexus unfortunately.
I've also been playing this again recently. A fantastic game! Just got through the Alien Base and built all new Firestorm ships equipped with Plasma cannons. Money is still a bit tight but got 5 Satellites ready to Launch at the end of the month so should get me a bit more money in!
I am currently a "Project Consultant" within a small company that does transport and warehousing systems.
I do a bit of everything - I've designed, implemented and tested our Android application from scratch. Linux server admin, Oracle SQL admin, bit of PHP developing and 2nd line technical...
I'm loving XCOM but after the first couple of in game months it's quite easy to get money - I think I'm in my 3rd month now and earning $1200 a month from countries alone. I've completed the game a couple of times and the first few months are the most important in the game - if you f**k it up...
I've heard Overclockers are brilliant until you have to say stuff back (Although in their defence I've heard that about eBuyer and nearly every other component company). I've only bought a keyboard/mouse from them about 5/6 years ago and they're still going strong!
I heard horror stories from 3 but I thought I'd give them a go. Have hit 18mbps on a 3G connection and 30mbps on a 4G connection. Signal is brilliant for my area (east/west midlands) but I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole if I was around Scotland or Wales.
Would never touch a mid range Android phone with a barge pole - so I suggest the Nokia.
Personally I'd see if you could put a bit more money towards it and get a top Android - Nexus/One/G2 - if having a good phone matters.
A few years ago my 360 broke and I bought a N64 from Gamestation as a stop gap for about £20 - I had to turn Goldeneye off as I didn't want to ruin my memories of the game. The controls and reaction time was just awful!
