A xenon died last weekend.
Reasonbly easy fix, a case of bumper off and cleaning the earthing points up behind the passenger side headlight.
Both where quite shitty so well worth doing.
Doing this even had the bonus of improving the quality of idle!
So far it's pretty much just had service items.
Given its been stored for approx 5yrs it's pretty mint.
So far I've done the full service all fluids genuine... cambelt/dephaser belts etc etc. Again all genuine parts, this was due to time rather than the milage (33k)!
I bought this 182 with the intention of tracking it but it really is too good.
My old Saab 9_3 was getting long in the tooth so I thought bugger it why not make the 182 my daily!
The Saab sold within an hour!
On with the daily... ?
Corolla GT coupe
Lancia delta integrale x2
205 gti x3
Alfa romeo Alfasud sprint
Alfa romeo Alfasud x2
I'll no doubt regret selling my M3 and imprezas too.
Its much better to have owned them though rather than just sitting wasted in a garage.
Each one was used as it should....

Planning 1 a month.
I've a budget...
Been doing trackdays for the last 20 years!
Bought just for doing track work but don't want to go down the trailer route again.
Are there any other go to guys for trackday parts other than pms? Or are they the best to deal with.
Looking in respect of service and quality /longevity of parts
Specifically suspension parts. Bump steer kits, coilovers, axle strengthening, ac deletes etc etc.
Cheers
Clio 182.
What's the best way of increasing throttle response?
Are we talking remap, flywheel etc?
I want to get rid of the running on feeling when getting off the throttle an on the brakes and heel and toeing.
Any advice welcome.
I did the same job on my mates cosworth, I used a 20mm conduit tap and a 20mm brass bung.
Remember to work clean if doing it in situ, as said flush out, I used an old hoover too (invaluble in the garage) lol
I may take you up on that.
You know of any valvers coming up for sale? Looking for something to track so interior etc not too much of an issue, I'm after a solid base to build a screamer ;).
Stu.
