the laser dectector will only go off if you or someone in front is being targeted if no one is speeding then there will be no laser signals being emmited as only cars seen to be speeding will be targeted as such it is quite possible to drive past a laser gun without the detector going off

so an extra 10bhp and same torque (is this correct) than the 172 will gain u pretty much a second to 60 doesnt add up, also if this is the case the 0-60 of the 172 mk2 will be less now as when these were tested they had no traction control does this sound right?

had the same problem mate, got a real good quote of tesco only 4 them to then change there policy, try elephant or admiral was cheapest for me 20yrs 2yncb was £1500 with mum and dad on policy i really think u will struggle to find better o and thats a 10month policy to help build up no claims

yep 182 would only be around £230 a month but this would be with a £4000 deposit! so if there was no deposit ud be looking at probably £300- £350 and then after the 3years ud still owe around £4-£5k on the car which would thenb be worthg what around £9k?? Better off buying a second hand cup imo...

it takes longer than just the laser hitting you to determin a speed so if u put on the anchors as soon as it hits yuov got a better chance than no detector at all. Anyone know how to test these as i wanna know if mine works? would a laser measuring devide set one off?

what chips are available for a mk2 172? also which are bect for gains? iv seen a few cars with factory fitted 182bhp ecus?? are these available through renault? im not goin mad with this car only after maybe a new airbox and chip would nay noticeable difference be seen with these fitted?
