yep, mine does that exact thing. Granted it's a little difficult to diagnose exactly on a forum (lol) but sounds like it to me.

IMO it's the injectors, Mine does the same thing.

not saying the brakes on the cup or any RS clio are bad because they are infact excellent, but I felt that the GTI180 brakes were even stronger. Just my opinion.............and yes I have a supersport which was the predessor to the XR2 she's 26 years old this year and I love it, 1700 xflow turbo...

IMO the 180 is better than a cup in 2 aspects only, the brakes and the seats.

I am planning 1 of these to go along with my ITG panel and a k-tec stealth system, has anyone else got this setup? and if so what gains were noticed? (if any lol) response/midrange torque etc..... any info would be most appreciated, cheers

I know it's still not quite what you're looking for but I had 7x17 ET35 rims on my cup with no scrubbage at all.

That is real nice, infact probably the nicest non RS car on here IMO.

lol, what confusion these rims are causing!! they are actually kahn RSR replicas but I can't remember the manufacturer.As I have stated they are only temporary while I give the turinis a real good clean, I don't think they suit the clio shape too well and to answer "clio heads" question, below...

first pic posted, had it since maybe august 2005. I fitted apex -40 @ the weekend and an ITG panel filter also threw on my temporary 17's while I give the turinis a damn good scrub. I was surprised that these don't rub at all!! on full lock or big bumps cos they are ET35 7x17 205/40.

funny 1 this but when I tried optimax I felt the car was actually slightly down on power/response and the mpg dropped!!!! I run 98ron super unleaded at all times, seems far better on my cup.........weird un.

31yr old 172 cup 14yr no claims £340 norwich union(I think).

I think they are called "cromadora" not sure on manufacturer possibly OZ.

i'm 31 and I also have a 172CUP, my other car is a mk1 fiesta supersport 1980 W with a 1700cc turbo'd xflow......love it.
