could you have got fluid on the pads possibly? That would be my guess. try some brake cleaner and if you still have no joy try them under the grill for a min or 2 then sand off the top layer of crap and try again
Sorry to spam the thread, Davejm123 how do you find the milltek system on the 182 seen them on e-bay going for good money at the moment and i'm really temped and i've been on the milltek site and they seem to sound pretty well too
http://www.rstuning.co.uk/renault.php on a bit of a tangent has anyone dealt with these guys, the gain seems pretty high for a 182 considering they only remap the ECU.
I am 23 at the moment and the cheapest quote I could get on an import STI5 running jus over 300bhp was £3k compared the £1k i'm paying for my 182 so I think I will have to hold on a couple of years until I can but one :(
If someone was walking down that path he could have quite easily hit them. I hope the police catch the c**t and prosecute for leaving the scene of an accident
I'm pretty sure it wasn't a write off as the insurance assesed the cars value at £9k and would only write it off if I took £7k for it which I felt was a bit of a kick in the nads. The assesor will be back off his hols tomorrow and is due to call me so I will double check with him to see if it...
Just looking for peoples views here, Basically I have an 04 clio 182 and a few weeks ago some girl drove into the back of it. I will be getting it back soon but would prefer to get rid of it now ASAP. Does anyone have any idea how much less my car is worth after being driven into? The damage was...

Mine is due to go in for a new steering wheel this week and I was thinkin that they might c**k it up on purpose cause they was giving me loads of excuses to get out of replacing it under warranty so I kicked off until they changed their minds. Are steering wheels an easy change?? If not i'm...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rIrMpes3Ul0&mode=related&search= This guy knows a thing or two about car control and he also has grey hair regardless of driving experiance some people are just gifted.
You should go to the person who sold you the car at the dealership and tell them that your not happy and if they will have a word with the service dept on your behalf sometimes when you go in wound up i'm sure the service people get kicks off it and act even more tw*ty. I sat in with the manager...
You should have gone for a 330 I test drove the 2.0l and was so dissappointed at the lack of power although I must admit they are very comfy to drive and they handle so much better than you expect them too. Enjoy :D
Really don't do it I know they are only £170 now but you will throw it out of the window after two minutes. Best bet is a Garmin like this one it is miles better than the Roadangel and a steal at £200...
I tend to have a play about in the wet (in controlled areas) to see how my car handles should I ever find myself in a bad situation I was very surprised at how quick the back end on the 182 spins once it lets go. I think that advanced driving techniques should be something all drivers are taught...
how do you manage that are they not perishable parts like the brakes and clutch etc?? Wouldn't have though a service item would be covered under warranty
you can actually do it with a couple of small phillips screwdrivers if you do one side at a time and just use a teaspoon under the bottom corner to lever it out. took me about 2 mins when i was in a carpark and got a cd stuck and i was using a couple of pen refills :S
Their is a rea group in manchester, they occasionally have the odd rs in, inc mine every time somethin breaks and they have always sorted out the problem without any bother not sure on prices though. they are on 0161 252 0078
If the centre bore of the alloy is bigger than the diameter of the hub on your can buy plastic inserts that sit in the hole in the back of the alloys. Not 100% where to get these from but I'm guessing most alloy wheel shops should be able to source them.
