liking all the pics so far, atm iv got 17s on but it rubs on the rear arches a LOT, and so its starting to p*ss me off, i have a set of cheap 15s that im tempted to stick back on, but it just looks so poo compared to the 17s, what do i do!?

As the title says, id like some pics of mk1's on aftermarket 15s please? be it valvers, williams, RT's, anything, trying to get ideas for a new set of alloys. cheers

Hi people, at the moment im running 17s on my mk1 1.2 clio, but a mate told me that this is likely to fcuk my car up big time mechanicaly, is there any truth in this? any help/advice would be great, cheers Jonny

righto, bought some 55mm lowering springs to replace my 35mm ones, did the drivers side no problem, went to the other side, and i cant seem to get the 'top cap' bit off from under the bonnet, its totally seized solid, (the one with the 6mm allen key bolt in the centre then the 21mm nut) can...

i have a 96 clio that had the ph3 headlights like yours, i put a williams/16v bonnet on, like you say lights need changing, i changed the wings to the 16v ones too but its not needed really, will go on fine

well i have my arches and bonnet on, just waiting for the headlamps to arrive tomorrow...

quick question, i have a clio 1.2 phase 3 (i think!?) its the one with headlamps like the rsi, but it got front ended the other night and i can get hold of some 16v wider arches and a 16v bonnet cheap, i was wondering first if the bonnet and arches will fit but also would the square style...

ahh i live on the A629 near the quarry just in the dip if you know were that is? the one iv seen's dark blue, see it around keighley a lot too. il keep my eyes peeled for you, will probs have seen you just not been paying attention!:o

my mate just fitted one to his fiesta so at a guess id say you should be fine, all he had to do was trim the splitter down a tad were it joins so its the right length, hope this helps Jonny

i have a clio mk1 1.2, but am looking into putting a bigger engine in it, something smaller than a 2.0 but bigger than a 1.4 (to make it worthwhile) what i want to know is, first is it worth it assuming i can get an engine at a good price? and secondly what else would i need to upgrade? ie...

Iv got 17s on my mk1 clio lowered about 50mm, thats ok, would think twice about taking it any lower though
