The struts were working fine bud when they came off.
Very easy to fit, literally screws under the tailgate and a plug for the brake light. I'd guesstimate 20-30 minutes absolute maximum to fit.
It started at 12.50 Bud. I don't know what it's worth really so want to let the auction run.

Re: sonny172cup "track racer project"
Looking great. How did you trim the loom, did you strip it back and remove the pins or did you clio each unused wire?
I'd be interested to see what you think of the heater.
Airbags - as per my thread
Wipers - I wouldn't
Speakers & electric windows can be removed in full by scrapping the door looms. The dash speakers can be shed cutting back the dash loom as per my thread and the same with the rears.
Alarm - I didn't have one but all were aftermarket so should be...
The option of a Megane engine and box always gets rejected but why?
Engine and box from an R26 £2.5k say
Customs shafts I can have done for £500
ECU say £1k
A bit of tweaking to get up to 275ish say £1k
So that's £5k total. Why is turboing a Clio engine better?
Jim, Wayne who fitted my cage could do the welding. He lives in Goole. The cage fitting wasn't cheap but but he did loads of stuff and he's a genius.
See his site for what he builds and drop him a text saying I sent you.

Looks great James. Come along way since I picked those doors up!
How did you mount the dash top after removing the dash bar? Any pictures of any mounts or brackets you've fitted?
