I changed from a mk 2 172. The Cup goes round corners a little better with slightly less body roll. The 172 is better in town on bumpy roads. No abs on the Cup has caught me out on a few occasions. The 172 is more confident in the wet, I felt slightly braver in it, maybe due to the body roll...

I done 17,000 miles in a Williams, 11,000 miles in a 172 and notched up 2,000 in a Cup and both 172s are noticeably quicker than the Williams. As for the handling, the Cups spot on I reckon!

EightBall, yeah I sort of know them there. My mum bought a 172 from there and its gone back once, had a bit of confusion about the hire car they gave her while the 172 was being fixed. In the end it turned out all right. In actual fact they was quite helpful in the end, shock/horror

My mums mk2 started making a racket and it got louder as the warmer it got, they reckon it is something to do with a bearing on the cam, in this case.
