good day out, thanks ivan for organising it!
Bigmoose, i was last out cos the slow ass audi but aaron and john had a good race out of the toll.
All 1.2 16v owners. i was suprised at the power these things had and cos the 1.4 8v are quite similar power i recon we have to organise a RWYB day...
got a warning from work today.
I handbraked the car perfectly (near enough) into my usual parking spot. looked so good with the tyre trakes carved in the snow.
boss did laugh as much. pity it all melted now
not really sure why its started this but when i start her up cold the exhaust rattle badly but after its a little bit warm its ok.
Thing is i scraped it on a speed bump (low speed, short but tall speed bump) and it started after that.
how do i make it stop?
how hard are the mounts to replace??
b*****d garage but a bodge one on and said it would be better, its f**ked up my car so need to replace it with renult one.
best bet will be measure the gap between the front wheel and tyre.
think if its around 1cm or less youve been lowered 55mm if more than that you more likely 35mm drop
15s lowered 55 front 70 back. only rubs when i give my mate who are rugby players a lift.
the alloys did seem to lose some acceleration but not top end. grip is fantastic!! my pics in the "others" section
anyone know of any material that i could use that would spread the colour of a neon light under it?
the plan is the make a thin box this a sign on top, i dont want the neons themselves to be seen but the writing to show up well.

never tried it in my clio this year but when i had my escort clock read 135mph wheel spin.
Yes very stupid, also stupid that a mate was standing outside the car with his head through the window checking the speedo.
followed by half hour handbraking the cars on ice before the cops arrived...
