    Buy a CUP not a F/F they stand out in a crowd. If a standard f/f drives past most people would'nt give it a second glance. I still get a lot of looks in my CUP. Could be the driver though!!!! www.172cup.co.uk is a great site,just needs more members so go and buy one.

    Cheers mate only I was a bit concerned when I saw that the rear pads looked like they had less life left in them that the front seeing as the cars only got 17k on the clock. Thought for one moment that someone might have clocked it.

    When new are aset of rear pads thinner the the front. My car has 17K on the clock and I have about 1/2 cm tred left on the rear pads.

    Keeping it above 5 sounds good to me. I will check it again when its been re-mapped. Should I get an induction kit first?? Matt

    Went for it in 3rd and the rev limiter kicked in at 7.2 at around 90mph so a guess its standard then. Cheers for the advise dude's

    Cheers mate will do. I take it if it goes passed the 7.2 this means its most likely already been re-mapped. I haven't driven any others apart from mine so I have nothing to compare it to.

    Bought my cup 172 about five weeks ago now and I love it to bits:D . Only one problem the wife keeps wanting to drive it:mad: Thinking about getting my ECU re-mapped but not sure if its already been done. Is there any way of checking it.

    Valver clutch problem - whats the best clutch?

    The clutch pedal on my CUP is a bit stiff and creeks a bit. I find it very springy and therefore easy to stall in traffic. I take it it's not the clutch its self but may be a probelm with the cable.

    Read something on another site which stated that the clio172 cup should only have a door lock on the passegers side? Mine has locks on both sides and I have seen picture of others which are the same.
