Door Locks For The Clio 172 Cup

Read something on another site which stated that the clio172 cup should only have a door lock on the passegers side?


Mine has locks on both sides and I have seen picture of others which are the same.

it depends what year it is. mine only has 1 on the passenger side and its a 2003 53

Mines a 52 reg

I take it the early ones have it and the late one don't.

Can't understand the reason why they would change?

They changed the spec to save cost 1 door lock over thousands of cars is a good saving.
They removed the drivers side though because all cars were the same and in France the drivers door ie the one they'd want to be abpe to open with a key is our passenger side.
