stealers are clueless told me the same thing when I wanted to book mine in for its 36k service.
How can anyone trust them to carry out a comprehensive service if they can't even get the sevice schedule right.
I will never let stealer touch my car far better service from a small independent...
I always carry a bucket and my wool mit in the boot.
Fill the bucket with nice foamy water using the metal nozzel jet thing and use the wool mit to clean, make sure you push down hard when filling the bucket otherwise the it will fly all over the place covering you in foam.
Is it the 36k service or 48k
Aux belt at 36k and may as well get the Cam belt done at the same time.
£200-£250 for standard service
£650+ for major service at a stealer
No risk of paint burn with one of those.
Personally I would not bother buying it, a PC it the only way to get good (safe) results.
random polishers give no better result than doing it by hand and it takes just as long and it's a messy process.
By the results I got.
Had three cars done over the years and you would never have known the chips were there.
I would bet anyone to look at my screen and tell me where the chip was.
Just plain stupid to consider smashing your screen just cos of a chip:S
car lacks 68
Best I have used by far and I 've tried loads.
Follow this with chemical guys spider web.
This combo removed scratches and swirls that nothing else would.
Light comes on at 40m and goes - - - - - - below 30m
Can never understand why it does'nt run to 0m I know it would'nt be 100% accurate but it would be better than - - - - - - -
Agreed if you spend hours on each panel but I done a bit every time I cleaned my car until the whole job was done.
Twice a year is b****cks you can use a PC every time just depends on the products used as quoted above.
