Will I see any difference in picture using the HD player over an upscaler seeing as my TV is not full HD.

The TV I have is not full HD it's HD ready, so is it worth buying a full HD DVD player or should I just go for a decent upscaling player. Cheers

Yeah but is was a standard tv not a plasma if that makes a difference.

Tried another scart but still the same problem. Both scarts are cheap ones and was wondering if that could be the reason. Wonder if it could be interference,seen those multiple shield scart and thought this might solve the problem.

Picture keeps cutting out every so often for a few seconds and ext1 appears at the top left of the screen which refers to the scart connections. I've checked the scart connection from the tv to the sky box and it seems fine:S Do I need to use a multiple shield scart lead?? TV is brand new...

Try Chemical guys spider web. Starts off like a compound and breaks down as you use it. It worked a treat on my Cup and the great thing is no need to use any other products.
