My now 3 month old 182 had to go back in to dealers to get warranty work done. After my experience with Sutton Park Coventry, there was no way I am ever going back to those ignorant monkeys.
So I went back to where I bought the car, Sutton Park Warwick, where they assured me my car would be...
I wish I had not bought mine. Nothing but trouble from day one. I love the car, but dealers and Renault let everything down in a massive way. Just about to write up what happened yesterday at dealers. See SUTTON PARK UPDATE.
Has anyone rejected a new car back to Renault due to them not being able to rectify a fault. I would be interested to hear from people that have, and find out how they went about it. Any advice greatly received.
Just had the same problem with my 182. Try the spring loaded plunger under bonnet and the bit it plugs into. Had both replaced on my car, sorted the alarm going off all the time.
They have ordered a hose for me which is on back order, but even the service manager agreed that it more than likely will not solve the problem. He said if I see coolant dripping, then I should get the car to them a.s.a.p.
Perhaps I will let the coolant run dry and blow the engine. They can...
From day one my 182 has been losing coolant. Hoses and engine are covered in a yellow powdery residue. This residue is spattered everywhere and I top up the header tank weekly.
Renault have pressure tested the system without finding any leaks. So they have handed the car back to me, if they...
From day one my 182 has been losing coolant, two months on with things getting worse I decided to get it sorted. I called Sutton Park in Warwick where I bought the car (for cash I might add) they said they could not see the car for two weeks, three weeks if I wanted a courtesy car which I did...
Try http://www.alphacaraudio.co.ukwww.alphacaraudio.co.uk I ordered an Alpine CDA 9835R at 2pm on a Thursday afternoon and received my h/u at 7:50 am the next day.
They are the cheapest I could find too. £379.99 plus postage. Bass Junkies want £440.
Ok so you showed some restraint, bet 182 sport never slept a wink that night wishing he had done something. You got to live with that now. You should have grabbed his fist then drove off. Making your attacker jog along side you at say 60 mph, I doubt he would be feeling very gangsta. Run Forest run.
Stop being so soft. The kid needs educating, this is where it begins. Beat or have him beaten to within an inch of his life, make a right bloody mess of him. Make sure he knows you want your stuff back. Tell him if he does anything else to your car the same will happen again. If his mates do...
All these unruly little b******s need to be taught some respect. I think gassing would do the trick. Id get a smack if I was naughty, when I was a kid, never did me any harm. It certainly taught me to be respectful.
Went out to my car one night a while ago and found it covered in eggs. Found...
Did a 300 mile round trip in my old 172 (2002 model) and the computer was showing 48.5 miles to the gallon. It was like Driving Miss Daisy, but I was in no rush.
I found the standard h/u in my 2002 172 to be better than the cabasse in my new 182. At the same number volume level the cabasse is quieter than the one in the 172. Needless to say, i took it out. Just my opinion.
