Its the shock tops. There is a modification, had it done on my 182. Seems to be a design fault. Even if your car is out of warranty, I dont see why you should pay because of a design fault. Contact Renault uk.

When I picked my 182 up, it had about half a tank. I was promised a full tank. So I took the salesman to the garage, I filled up, he paid.

I think he might mean the switch re-sets to off position, had the same problem, got new switch under warranty. That one now does the same thing, Renault quality you gotta laugh.

Ive got a TomTom Go, Ive also got a 182. You deffo need the TomTom Go external aerial. I have velcroed the receiver to the rectangle at bottom of windscreen. Works a treat.

You should not lose a months tax. I got the dealer to tax my new 182 for a year and 2 weeks. Did not cost me any extra.

If you have not declared any mods, change back to original spec, then notify insurance company.

No, not my fault. They did some work which would have involved taking the undershield off. They just have not replaced it.

If it got ripped off, I think the bolts and some plastic around the bolts would be there. I dont have anything there. Renault are gettin it Monday morning. Another case of messing your car up and saying nowt.

Does the 182 have an undershield? My 172 did, and im sure I noticed it before on my 182. Now it is gone. I assume the Renault monkeys forgot to replace it.

Had a new washer bottle at same time headlamp washer nozzle was replaced.

Got my 182 in late June also. Had a cracked headlamp washer stalk replaced under warranty a few months later. They have to remove the bumper, which they scratched. I am also waiting for a wheel to replace the one the dealer damaged. All the damage to my car has been caused by the dealer.

Try replacing the plunger under the bonnet (at front right) and the bit it plugs into. Had a similar situation with my 2 month old 182. Found corrosion in the plug.

Do a search on shock top modification. Just had mine done on my 182.

I have a Tom Tom Go in my 182. A Tom Tom external aerial IS needed. It is not just an aerial, but includes a new base aswell. I have my receiver stuck to the little rectangular window at bottom of screen with velcro. All for £50.

I leave my wheels on. It handles better and goes much faster. Brake discs dont offer much grip, and they spark alot. lol.

They cancelled my own private parking bay at dealers, they now come to my house to do the work. This is an effort to stop inconveniencing me. Dont think they will ever be able to put in enough effort to make it up to me.
