Hi DUDE, to be honest if I were you Id look for a mint Williams. I would have one but had to go for a 172 for work reasons.
Dont get me wrong though, I love driving the 172 every time even though Ive had it over a year now... but the Williams is something special though aint it.
:)

I got a quote this dinner time from GT Tuning to lower mine. They want £399+VAT (£468!!!) and this doesnt include changing the shocks. They say the do sort out the negative camber that lowering gives but even so it sounds an awful lot of money.
I found it did take some getting used to after my phase 1 16v Clio. That felt like it was on rails. It does take a while to find the 172s limits but when you do and you get used to it they can be thrown around with the best of them.
Ive not driven a Mk2 though...

Theyre pretty cool. I got my girlfriend the Mario Kart version a couple of months back. It might have to be the yellow Evo if the Clio isnt available
Maybe I can race her now!! :D

Touch wood my Jan 2001 Mk1 is solid. Apart from the warranty paint respray which took 8 months for the dealer to agree to its a great motor. I dont get any of these funny rattles and squeaks mentioned on here. Just prooves you dont have to accept crap build no matter what the car. Good on you...

My girlfriend has one of the SiPix ones above, its excellent for the money.
We took it to Goodwood this year and dropped it losing about 140 photos. Never lost anything else from it though. Good job we took the proper camera as well...
