Anyway here they are...
I put mintex extreme pads on the front and rear of my cup, teamed up with my 12 grooved discs all round as well and I think they are much better then standard IMO.
i get the same issue as well on my 172 cup when make a tight turn over bumpy road or a manhole cover. Comes from driver side, low down and the front of the car.
Hey guys, anybody know how or if you can undo and remove the rubber hoses on top of the rear caliper as I need to check the line as I cannot get brake fluid from the bleed nipple even if totally removed. Cheers inadvance for your expert advise.
can't remember, was dark and i was half asleep. you were driving over a roundabout coming from bradville/bancroft towards CMK. Really nice looking car though. I was pulling up to the roundabout in me 172 cup.
I've also done it without the nipple screwed in, just held my thumb over the hole as the brake pedal is de-pressed, then let go as the brake pedal is pressed. Really haven't got a clue.
Hey guys. A few weeks ago i posted an issue to do with a new brake disc fitted becoming really rusty after fitting new rear discs and pads. Anyway half the brake disc on the rear passenger side is still rusy as though the brake pad is not connecting with the disc. Have tried to bleed the caliper...
damn car, my car is nice and that but i've had endless issues with it to be honest. only it had since march and already had to have new spark plugs as wrong ones fitted and also water was in the spark plug well things, this was within 1 week of having the car. had to replace discs as they were...
Yeah it sounds like something to do with the seat as it only started when i moved my seat forward to squeeze my bike in. I'll have a look in my lunch and see what happens.

must not be you then. I've seen a silver 172 in Towcester a few times with a man driving it and always say hello and i sometimes see a blue 182 on my way to silverstone and its traverling towards MK on the A5.
Yeah thats the same as mine, just looked when i went to lunch and towards the outside of the disc the outer half is rust where it looks like it doesn't contact the disc.
just wanted some ideas before i see my mechanic mate at the weekend. Thought i would see if it was something simple.
I think the mintex pads with the discs are quite good. First set of performance pads i've had, was gonna get redstuff pads.
Hi, thanks for the replies.
The previous owner claimed it was 210bhp, even though its got a group 'N' ECU re-map and K&N filter. Its prob 185bhp max at a guess.
yeah i'll check to see if the piston works ok.When i unscrewed the nut which releases the fluid nothing came out. I'm confused.com.
Hi everyone, i'm new on here so please be gentle.
I own a 03 plate 172 cup thats be remapped, just put some Mintex Xtreme pads all round on my car and all grooved discs as well all round. Over the last few days i've noticed just the bake left disc is rusty and looks like the pad is not really...
