The nozzle on it's a bit rubbish, but filter does a good job. I got mine from instore for £6.00 and then the extra filter things were about £1.00 each. This was last year though....
Reminds me of when EVO used to have Tailslide at the back - there was a story about the 'Ren Cl Cp' (less letters to stick on the back = lighter), with weight saving including no mirrors indicators, door handles or steering wheel ..
Don't really like the paint job, but it looks really well done. 182 exhaust, 172 alloys sprayed a dark gunmetal(?), 172 spoiler - and where in the country has a plate beginning 'FL'...?
Someone else probably knows better than me, but I'd have said the Conti's: Premium Contact isn't a 'sports' tyre like the other two - Sport Contacts would probably be a fairer comparison...
I'd be happy for someone to correct me though, as I'm going to need some new fronts soon.
Mine moves more in gear than my old Civic did across the whole box. Find it a bit disconcerting sometimes, but not there's much can be done (unless someone knows differently).
Looks like you had a couple of faults with the T and D showing (I think Edde did a 'dash fault finding trick' post with full details of what they all mean). Might be worth checking it again in a couple of weeks to see if they've reappeared.
I've got a Sony A100, and find it great - easy to use (my first DSLR). I am currently having a bit of trouble finding a wide angle lens though - there only seems to be the Sigma 10-20 at a reasonable price. Anyone got any other suggestions?
Any chance you could let me know how much heatshield fix costs you? Think mine's doing the same, but never bothered to have it looked at cos don;t want to speand money....
Cheers
Took mine down to Rentech for 5 year service. Was About £720.00 including a front pad change. It's not that far to go from us either, and you can have a day wandering around Portsmouth...
How long do 172 dampers normally last efore they should be replaced? I know that people have experienced leaking dampers, but presumably they wear out even if you don't have this problem? My car's feeling a little bit baggy and I'm wondering if it's worth spending a couple of hundred to get it...
I know what you mean. I think what makes the Renaultsport Clios such good chassis is that they do deal with it - you know what's happening, but it'll get your ound the corner. If I tried the same thing in my girlfirend's Corsa it would result in lots or wallowy roll and scary understeer.
I'm suprised the three of us don't end up having some kind of 'Commuting Mini-Meet/Driveby' each morning :D
We must keep on just missing each other....
That's correct.
Don't forget that it's a turbo, so it's going to have a good mid range whack that the Clio won't. from everything I've heard the 207's engine is pretty good - it's just the chassis that's a mess.
In fact, I think evo said the 197 would be perfect if it had the 207 GTI engine....
