Nothing schedueled, but if it's anything like mine then you'll have to put with exhausts falling off, wheel bearings going, etc... ;)
Agreed. Whatever you replace it with will probably still have the same issues at the same times, it will just be a bit cheaper to work on, so you could only be...
Depends when it took place and how long you keep the car. If itwas 2 years ago and then you keep the car 3 years, then it will have been through 4 MOTs in the meantime - any potential problem really should have occured by then.
On the other hand if it was Cat D just before you bought it and...
I was going to take my camera and loiter round Hennef Way earlier, but was a bit hungover :dapprove:
Would you be up for another breakfast run at the end of the month/beginning of next Tony?
Rear one was ridiculous - about £90.00 plus VAT. Better off buying a set of Eibach Pros and doing the whole lot for £130.00 (like I didn't do, but wish I did....)
Using a combination threshold and um, colour halftone (I think that's what it's called - at work at the moment so can't check) usually works quite well. The halftone thing should look a bit like newspaper print.
Just layer things up - I'll have a go at it this evening if I get a minute!
Ah - ok. Presumably using a bit of WD40 won't do any harm though? As long as it gives me a chance to have a quick drive and see if it seems any better.
Thanks for your help (although if anyone has a photo it'd still be appreciated).
Well..... Ride seems to be a bit rubbish, even on roads that appear smooth, car always seems to be bobbing about, banging, reacting to things on the road that I can't even see. Almost feels like the dampers are rock hard - Handling in corners seems to be okay though....
So, having looked...
Again, I think people are a bit harsh on Sony - this isn't some dodgy brand product that you get advertised in the back of colour supplements. The Sony cameras are basically developments of Konica Minolta kit, so there is some history. I'd agree that the 'pro' brands are better than Sony, but it...
Auto lights and wipers should always be together - I think the sensor (at the top of the windscreen) is all one unit. Maybe try starting the engine up and covering it over with your and for a few moments - lights should then pop on. If not, then try the switch on method as mentioned by MrSnoop...
I wouldn't completely discount Sony - they seem to get an undeserved bad press from some people (and yes, I've got one). Can't really go wrong with a Canon and Nikon though, as there's so much relatively cheap kit available for them if you go on eBay.
From his biog:
"Vincent is a Canon Explorer of Light and Canon Printmaster and serves as a consultant to companies such as Apple, Bogen, Lexar and X-Rite."
Probably got a fair bit of that stuff free or cheap.
Git. ;)
I'd be intrigued to see how he uses it whilst he's there, particularly the remote stuff - do they just have areas set aside where all the photographers set up their remote kit?
Got some great pics on his site too (unsuprisingly!), but it's nice to see things like blown highlights in his work...
I was wondering this too - 100k is quite pretty heavy going for a 4 year old car (I know some people do, but it's unusual). My 172's only done about 44k, but it feels a bit baggy sometimes...
Sorry, if it's a re-post, but have Renault finally pulled their fingers out and made some half decent mats at a fairly reasonable price?!

Near The Cross, just after 12.00. I think it was a 172, but seemed quite modded, so could of been a look-alike. Personal plate which I can't remember, and a Cliosport sticker.
Thought about, with the discount they've just been giving. Rather typically, my exhaust gave way the day after the offer expired
I've been mulling over getting rid of the car, so maybe I should just go standard again :dead:
Right, got home this evening and heard by exhaust blowing. Now, I'd like to replace with something other than standard if posible as it's the second one to go (checked the invoice and it's been on the almost 3 years to the day....)
I've done some searches but can't seem to find what I'm after...
Yep, but that doesn't normally stop me :)
Think we're going to have to arrange another Banbury Breakfast meet at some point - there seems to be few extra owners in the area now.
