What clio are you getting?
If it's going to be a sport i'd check insurance quotes before you look into buying the car, being 17 you will be paying well above £1500
If your going for a lower engined clio, I wouldn't have thought you will have any problems.
If you get them dipped/coated in zinc before fitting this will reduce, if not stop the of rusting/oxidation to the discs, txt rob off SW-CC about it, I'm sure he will point you in the right direction Dan, IIRC he has had it done to a couple of his previous cars and it does make a huge difference.
IMO these wheels only suit a 182, its weird, although the body of a 182 and ph2 172 are the same from the side, they look completely different with those wheel, if you get what I'm trying to say lol. Nice looking car though :D
I've just had my car done with nw performance today! I've gotta say they are top blokes there and I don't think you will beat their prices! Full service, cam belt and auxiliary belt and the tensioners £466! Can't fault them! Thanks boys!
Cheers for the info guys, done that whois thing and its showing as Amsterdam, so i'm not going to worry bout it. My password is solid, not even my best mate would have a chance of guessing it
Hi guys, just a quick question to any computer genius.
I have received an email today saying that someone has been trying to gain access to my clio sport user name, without success (password incorrect more than 5 times). Attached to the email is the 'failed hackers' IP address.
Does...
I live at home with the parents. Buy everything with good earned cash! Nothing on finance/loans. I don't justify paying interest for stuff for the car. Agree with Nero, mortgage for a property is in a bit of a different league to a splitter to make your car look good!
Got a couple of other subtle mod's planned, although more importantly, the dreaded cam belt is being changed this month or Feb, so I'm sure at the end of Feb i will have it looking how I want it.
Hopefully Dan will get to it with a good detailing sesh... Don't tell him tho, he don't know...
As Dan said, I am very impressed with them. Although you can't adjust the dampening, they are great for road use. They are a bit bumpier than the standard set up, but, I honestly love it, make it feel so much sportier. :D
For the price, I can't fault them.
It wouldn't stop people taking them if they are drilled!! I put mine on with the halfords number plate pads, and it was a lot trickier getting them off than if they were on with screws. They really do a good job IMHO.
Myself and Pritchard 182 set out this morning for a bit of a photoshoot after giving the cars a bit of a wash.
Thought we'd share some of the snaps with you. Pic's are un-edited. Haven't had time yet.
Please excuse my awful excuse for tyres. Thats what it come with, but will be change in...
Am in work tomorrow Dan, but got the weekend off.
Was struggling with taking a tidy photo with that graffiti one, as I only had my new lens I had for christmas with me (trying it out), and there wasn't much room to get a tidy pic. If i had my other I could have got a bit further away with it.
