Was changing my head unit over and took the old one out to discover it was just wired in with induvidual wires connected together and not a connestor block if you know what i mean?
Anyways, took the old one out and tried and tried and tried to get the new one to work but no joy! So I gave up...
Bought a 16v inlet off ebay, purely because I want to have a go and polishing it up and selling it on!
Whats the best way to go about it? Tools/supplies etc that are needed?

Right I own a Mk1 1.2 so I dont know what its like to go fast lol!
But what I want to know is what makes people think Clio's are great the the twisties? Is there any proof or is it just coz people say so?
As you may have guessed from the title my electric windows are going very slow! Will it just be the motors on there way out as there getting on a bit?
Or would cleaning all the seals and runners help any?

Im in two minds what to do with a MK1 PH3 I have just picked up.
I bought the car for £100 with the intension of stripping it, selling all the bits and scraping it! Usually what I do as most of the cars I get for parts are write offs etc!
But I got this one in and its got a snapped timing...
Only had this phone for a few days and already it seems to be having the same problems as other people have mentioned they are having.
Decides to turn itself off now and again, usually loses connection from computer when transfereing files and is just generally slow sometimes!

Just wondering what there like on the motorway at about 70 + 10 MPH in terms of car/road noise and comfort?
Also are they reliable enough and whats the MPG like on them?

Basically some money has come my way and I am thinking about buying a diesel for going back and forward to work and a Valver for the rest of the time! I do about 400-500 miles a week just going to work and back so would save a bit in the long run if the insurance was cheapish.
