So, finally got the interior ready by masked everything off and panel wiping everything. Then it was time to move into the 'spray booth' lol Not exactly ideal spraying conditions... Before primer: Primer on: Went on well tbh, finish seems smooth so I put on a light coating...

Cheers for the comments :) Here's what I've got done this morning: Just got the rear part of the floor around the wheel well and the wheel well to do now: Still on target for paint today! Also picking up my flocked dash from Banbury later, can't wait to see it! :D

Cheers jay! I didn't use the standard bolts for the mount (it was previously loved and it only came with one!) so maybe that's why they look shorter? Will whip it out anyway and have a look.

:o was only temporary, they'll be mounted to the cage from now on! I wouldn't advise mounting harnesses to any of those rear brackets, I pulled them out with my bare hands lol! Cheers for the comments, I remember you liking the car when I posted them pics up before haha.

Cheers :) Was these ones I think: http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_205089_categoryId_165760_langId_-1?cm_vc=IOV4PDPZ1 Not sure if the material is any different tbh. You can get them from focus diy etc for a few quid cheaper.

Cheers :) I bought some tie down strap things from halfords (8 quid for 2 I think) and just cut lengths of that off. Strong and looks quite tidy! lol, daily driver so don't want 6 points! Tempted with 5's though as sometimes they ride up a bit if they're not done up mega tight!

Didn't get chance to put any primer or owt on today, didn't want to rush it so will be doing that tomorrow! Started masking up bits and bobs and removed all of the wiring from the front to the rear of the car: Had some help today too! Massive thanks to Ian_s for helping out! I don't have...

Started prepping the interior today, finally!! Started out tidying a few bits in the engine bay as a break from the inside. Mounted the junction box properly and moved the ecu. Will be fitting some ducting to the airbox eventually. Doesn't look particularly pretty, but a lot better than it was...

Got quite a bit done yesterday, hopefully nearing the end of all the shitty jobs! Wheels and tyres ready to go: Brown bread sound deadening gone (weighs a fair bit!) Studs ground off and filled: Main loom tidied up, race battery out, most other stuff out! Cage also out: How the...

Spent quite a bit of time today on the car, feels like I've made fook all progress though! Been doing all the shitty jobs like pulling out all of the plastic clips for the standard trim etc (which love to snap when you try to yank them out ) Pics of some carbon bits I've bought: I've got...

Booked a few days off this week to try and get some decent progress made before FCS! Few weeks ago I had the mot to sort out, needed a few bits so got them fitted. Cheers to Fred for sorting me out with the discs! Also planned on taking the headlining out which unfortunately meant I...

Started today by ditching some of the airbag stuff. First to go was the passenger airbag: Airbag ECU was next to go! I also started sorting out what I could strip out of the loom: I'd hoped that all the pretensioner wiring etc all went to the airbag ecu, and then from the airbag...

Bit more progress today! First off was to sort out an intermittent fault I was having. The STOP and Oil lights on the dash were coming on and off every now and then. Oil level was ok, and the pump was working fine, so I bought a replacement sender (cheers to Jord for the part number!). Old one...

Bit more progress, got the back stripped out, and the carpet and sound deadening out of the front. Still got a bit left to get out from behind the dash I think. New harnesses fitted: They're loads better than my old ones, a lot easier to adjust, lighter and better fitting. Really pleased...

    Project Track Tart

Had a bit of spare time over a weekend so got the cup racer brake ducts fitted: They're an absolute s**t fit, they're not the same size as each other, they don't point towards the arches, the finish isn't smooth, and I had to paint them before fitting. Bonded them in place, then used some...

    Window switch/reg wiring?

I bought a clio wiring diagram which has turned out to be pretty crap tbh. Basically I want to move the elec window switches (just the driver's side ones) to the centre console (I'm putting a little panel in there). I've bought some aftermarket window switches which I know the pinout of. The...

    eagle f1 gs-d3, twitchy???

Mine feel ok, as said check the pressures as it's likely the fitters will have put 40+ psi in them! 33F 31R is about right for a cup.
