Might be worth checking the ball joints depending on the mileage/if it's lowered. About £20 for a pair (if you buy the laguna/megane ones - make sure the holes are 13mm not 10mm). I think these I are the ones I went for...
You tried getting a quote off flux for a modded R26? I found that their quotes were awful for standard cars, yet if you told them it had an induction kit or something it dropped massively!
Over your budget by a bit, but have you thought about a HD projector?

It's got a short throw so is suitable for smaller rooms. Mate of mine bought one about a month ago, the quality is unreal!
Apologies for the lack of updates, keep forgetting to whip my camera out before it gets dark!
So after the spraying, here's the list of what I've been doing (not many pics unfortunately!)

Well, been a painstaking day, but got there with it in the end! Missed the early bus into town, so it was 12 before I got started (ran out of paint so had to nip into town on the bus). The gun was playing up all day, the compressor hose snapped at the connector end, it split in 2 other...
2 more base coats on now, ran out of paint though so I'll pick some up and finish it off in the morning. Hopefully be lacquered up by the end of tomorrow.
First base coat of the day down:
While that was drying I got a few snaps of the flocked dash:
The pics don't do it...
Sorry I meant I bought it second hand, not from a different shop lol.
Cheers :) I used a 10mm drill bit to free the bracket from the spot a little, then pulled the bracket off with some water pump pliers. Then just ground down the rest of the spot with the dremel. I'd recommend getting a...
