Over the past 1000 miles of plain boring driving I've averaged 39.7mpg in my 182. It doesn't include much stop start in towns which must have helped.

Aviva quoted me happy at £295 on my 182 with no modifications:- 27, 8 years ncb (which are protected), £150 excess, 10k miles, home start recovery

Tried the cable tie mod on mine and it still doesn't change temperature, have to switch the engine off and on with a different temperature set and it works then, just doesn't change with the engine running :mad:

can anyone help me ?

I'd guess using some microfibre clothes and a sponge applicator for the wax. Not wishing to sound obvious but don't they normally say on the bottle what the best way is?

I don't know what the black thing in my photo is for, it's got a small blue bit that shows up in the cabin. As for the torpedo shaped bit, I don't have a space like that where the small vents are. Mine's an 05 182. It's all too confusing for my simple brain :S

I wouldn't have said body roll was always a bad thing providing it's consistent from front to rear. If the front and rear roll at the same rate you'll have no nasty surprises when it comes to turning in, although it can make changing direction feel sluggish. Surely if your ending up with lots...

Same here, have no idea how long they have been on the car though. On a side note how many milles can you expect to get out of a set of rears.

I know the feeling about a black car, my fiesta before hand was black and I said I would never have another black, but got tempted as it was nice and shiny on the garage forecourt. Sorry no pics, all I can say is that it did help, it's not perfect by a long shot but it's better than it was.

In the same boat, although with some effort and meguirs scratch X and some SRP it did help a bit, but still not perfect.

Re: Possible new splitter found!! I didn't cut the tabs off mine, just trimmed them so they were all flat which made screwing on easier. As for the time, I guess it depends on how confident you are and what tools you have to hand to make life easy. But it soon disappeared, and I gave up...

I think the Megane one looks a lot better and bargain too!! Another cheap alternative would be http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=497526, fitted one at the weekend and it looks good, probably a smidge deeper than Megane one you put on.
