Had a similar problem with mine in my 182, in that if I started the car with the climate set to max temperature on Auto mode I got loads of hot air, but then the temperate wouldn't go down, and vice versa so it's either cooked or frozen. Ironically if I switched the engine off at a desired...
Was contemplating doing the dash stripes in mine Black/Gold but wasnt' sure if they'd come out to shiny as the rest of the interior is fairly matt.
Might give it a go now, though as it looks good. Did you spray it, or brush and lacquer?
Am in the same situation as mine is due to be changed in a couple of months, Kwik Fit in Dereham quoted me around £450 but the sales bloke then asked me did I know why it was so high :dapprove: and East Bilney Renault quoted me £698.25, split- £278.73 for parts and £419.52 for labour
Is the problem and cure going to be similar for my problem with my climate on an '05 182. If the temperature is set to Max before I start the engine the heater gets hot and then doesn't seem to blow cool air out when you turn the temperature down, but if the temperature is set to say 22 when the...
Sounds like a good price to me, and is similar to what I paid for my 05 plate back in February.
As for MPG I have had everything from 12 to a smidge over 50, but with normal A road driving in traffic it averages around the 35-40. Other thing I have noticed is that using Super Plus or what ever...
Hard work and making my hard earned money work harder for me. Look into sensible banking, you can get 6% interest on a current account from certain banks and building societies, but look at the catches, you normally have to pay in between £500 and £1800 a month to actually earn the interest and...
There is probably a really sensible or obvious answer to this, but was out looking at cars with the other half over the weekend and came across a clio that has had the wheels changed on it, no big deal I thought but they just looked really small in the arches, on closer inspection the wheel size...
read the manual thats how i found out :rasp:
There is a switch to the right of the steering column you need to flick it to get a green light come on the dash,
The button on the left of the wheel lets you set the speed and the one on the right seems to switch it on and off if I remember rightly...

Privalege were pretty good to, but most of the quotes I got were around the £400 area.
Ring em up and ask is the best bet, it's amazing what they'll do if you ask them rather than use the online quote things. Mention that the quote online will be cheaper when you turn 19 if that is the case and see what they come up with, afterall if you don't ask you don't get. In my experience...
haha, didn't shout it out or stand up, although I did point it out!!! To be honest I don't think it would have made any difference what car it was, it ain't everday you see a car with red or orange wheels.
Does a new report count as spotted ;)
Was watching ITV Anglia news last night at 6pm and in the report about electric powered cars the news reader was stood outside the Esso garage in Drayton when a Black Clio (maybe a 172 or 182) with bright red or orange wheels drove passed!! I only noticed...
Whats wrong with SCA?
I have heard some good things about Clive Atthowe, but have never really known where to head if I ever wanted anything doing to my 182.
It's always nice to realise that something is better than you expected!!
I must admit it was something I didn't check when I bought it :o, and the other day was the first time I tried it. I have poked a pin in it to see if that makes any difference and it didn't.
Now how do you take the rear spoiler off to see if the tube has a kink in it?
Thanks for the...
Can anyone give me any pointers about where to start looking at finding out why the rear windscreen washer jet isn't working on my 182?
The fronts (both windscreen and lights) work fine, and when you you twist the stick to get it to come on you can hear the motor spinning up but no water comes...
I recently bought my black gold 182 from a Renault garage, assuming that your average private sale car needs an MOT, service and road fund licence with in 6 months of the purchase date mine worked out cheaper than going private.
The garage I bought mine from were also more than happy to take in...
Mine didn't seem to want to work at all last night in the drizzle no matter what setting I had them on with the sensitivity thing!!!
Is there something daft like if you switch the engine off with them on the auto (intermittent or postion B I believe in the manual) setting you have switch...
Had a look last night and everything appears to be clean and shiny where the connectors are, also tried a new bulb and that didn't help either.
I checked the connectors with a volt meter to make sure that current is getting there, it's 11.5volts with the engine off and 14.2 volts with it on...
