Am soon going to have to replace my 182 exhaust and wondered if anyone has had any experience with Power and Performance in Honingham?Failing that I really should pop along to a meet and see whats what and help make my mind up.
My spark plugs and HT leads have recently been replaced on my "05" 182. On a long run at the weekend I noticed that I am getting a lot of condensation on the rear windscreen when above 4.5k rpm, more than experianced previously. I know you get quite a bit of condensation when everythings cold...
I can't say I agree in my experiance! Have just renewed mine and its halfed since last year. I wouldn't think going from 10 to 11 years ncb would make that much difference!! Last time that happened I was about to turn 21 with 4 years ncb.
Elephant quoted me £310 fully comp for my 182 declaring modified brakes, exhaust and suspension. 8000 miles per year + 1000 business miles, protected no claims. £250 voluntary excess.
With the current financial climate all I would recommend is that you don't stretch yourself too far when it comes to financing things. Remember that the unexpected can happen and if you already have one thing on finance getting another could be more tricky!!
Just to let you guys know, back in February I renewed my insurance with Admiral and paid for the policy outright.
Four days ago they took a further £25 from my account. I rang them up and they told me it was to revise my insurance policy based on information they had got hold of from Bell Car...
Seems like there's as many posts about the boot shelf as there is about your ace cleaning job!
Am guessing it's one of these http://www.therenaultshop.co.uk/product/Compartment_Tray_7701416299
My renewal quote has gone up 30% over what I paid last year. Still amazes me how much insurance company prices vary by, had everything from £350 to a few grand. Guess it will get blamed on un-insured drivers and legal costs like normal!!
I'd make sure the cambelt and auxiliary belt have been changed and that other things like brake fluid, oil changes and spark plugs have all been done as per the service manual. Also worth checking to make sure the climate control works properly and the headlight washers don't leak, otherwise I...
There was me thinking it was going to be about an ozone friendly clio, not one sprayed mushy pea green. Will keep an eye out for ya in the city, not that you'll be hard to miss.
Mine feels like it runs better on the higher ron stuff, I also get a few more mpg's and more shell points so the increased cost at the pump is evened out anyway.
Only way to work it out is to test drive them both.
When I was looking for a 182 I drove standard ones, cup packed ones, cups and trophies and went for a full fat 182 and got lucky with finding one with the Trophy recaro's. They were all different, I could see the appeal of all of them in a...
Got mine at 27. With how people afford them I guess it's all down to what you want to or have to spend your pennies on. Could have bought one earlier, but would have had to have given up my car racing or holidays, you take's your choice and spend your money!!
Looks nice and shiny in the pics compared to when I saw it on the forecourt at Bilney!! What exhaust is on it? I had a sneaky peak on the way back from the coast and didn't really know. Wouldn't bother with Carbon Fibre if I were you, but it's all down to personal preference, as cheap small mods...
As it was a bit chilly I wanted some warm air out of the heater. Started up this morning with the climate set on 18, and increased the temperature while I was travelling and nothing happened other than the fan speed rising a bit. Put it on max after a while and still no warm air. Being half...
can't believe how quick they arrived, yeah I know it's next day delivery, but ordered mine at half three in the afternoon and they still arrived next day. As for pads was thinking about the Mintex 1144 as I doubt i'll be doing any track days, unless the DS2500 or CL RC5+ will last longer in...
I haved used the super resin polish on my black gold clio with pleasing results on swirls and the odd scratch. Takes some time and quite a bit of effort, but found it more effective than Meguirs Scratch X, topped mine off with some Dodo Juice Purple Haze wax and you can't see them now.
I've always tended to use either Autoglym Super Resin Polish (SRP) or Autoglym Ultra Deep Shine, with a decent amount of elbow grease and some patients to remove swirls and small scratches. From what I have read a machine polisher will make life easier at removing scratches and swirls.
Had a good go at giving my Black Gold 182 a good spruce up for the coming summer, yes I am hoping summer will arrive one day!!
If anyone knows of any good dent removal companies in the Norwich / Dereham area please let me know as I have a couple of trolley dings in the side panels which would...
Re: Is the ClioSport more efficient Fuel wise at higher revs?
Been playing about abit with driving styles to see what MPG I get on my trip computer and have found that 2200 to 2600 rpm seems to be most efficient place to keep the revs, unless your sat at the traffic lights :rasp:
I know on the...
