I noticed today that when I was reversing and had the wheel turned on full lock there was some sort of movement. It felt like something was skipping when I was going backwards.
Does anyone have any ideas what it could be or where I should start to look?
Thanks
I did have that thought with the Velcro. Perhaps sticky stuff would make more sense.
I have just looked at the current plate that is on there and boy is it on there, any tips for removing the old plate?
Can any tell me the length and diameter of the breather that connects to the air intake on a 182. I am going to change the current filter and induction kit but the pipe to the throttle body has the breather pipe as a moulded part.
Thanks
I was looking around the web for ideas for a new headunit and came across this http://www.wedodigital.co.uk/product/2087/meos-7-lcd-1-din-multimedia-console-dvd-bluetooth-navigation/meos-mc701bnav/
Has anyone owned or know much about these, if so are they reliable and any good.
Thanks
Not being the most technically minded person how can I tell, is there a guide I can follow to check these things? I'm doing the learning by doing course on car maintenance and repair.
After a night of excessive drinking I stayed at a hotel for the night. Anyway when I got into the car to leave I had to turn out of a tight parking space so had the car a full lock to the right as I pulled away there was a sort of clunking noise and it felt as if the wheel was skidding as I made...
That doesn't sound good, atleast it was done by a specialist so you have that to comfort you and the fact that it was all Renault parts. I'm guessing the specialist was KTR and if it was I am sure they will see you right.
I bought mine from new with the 98 Ron map and have found the car to drive better and much smoother. The mpg is better and the difference in the throttle response is very noticeable. Just make sure you read the instructions a couple of times before doing anything and follow them to the letter...
I have the same problem at present, I checked the wheel bearings and all of them have no play. Anyway whilst driving to work this morning I noticed that it got louder when I drove on certain road types and became quieter on others. So I am going for the option of swapping tyres front to back to...
I hope it is just going to be a case of Remove Wheel, Brake Calliper, Brake Disc and then the hub and I dont have to do anything with the Driveshafts. I never done one before on the Clio so I am not 100% on the procedure.
Also does anyone have the Part Number for the Cup Part.
I have found someone that can push them out and back in now all I need to find is the replacements. Anyone know the best place to buy replacements or is it a Renault part I need.
Whilst driving to work this morning I had a strange noise coming from the front, but it stopped when I turned right. So I am thinking that it is a front wheel bearing that is on its way out. The question is do I replace them as a pair or just the noisey one?
From what I have read I belive they...
Sounds like you need to carry out the AV reset,
Turn the power off to your PS3, then once the red 'off' light is on, hold the power button for 10-15 seconds. This will reset the AV settings.
Sound very similar to the problem I had with mine, the motor spins but nothing comes out. What you need to do is take the motor out of the water bottle and remove the pipe work on the end where the feed for the front and rear go into. carefully take this apart and you will find a rubber tube...
I am feeling very impressed with myself today, the reason being is that my windscreen washers stopped working about a week or so ago and I have managed to fix them. No big deal I hear you say well it is for someone who is not very good mechanicaly.
I purchased a new pump from ebay only to find...
You will need an external USB to SATA connector, something like a HDD Dock or a cable then download and use SuperDuper on you mac and it will clone the drive.
I have put a SSD into my Macbook recently, all you need is the SSD and thats it. Just reuse the screws and fittings you take out with the old drive. There are plenty of guides on the net if you get stuck.
Its one of the best upgrades you will do, I added 8GB of Ram to mine with the SSD and it...

That's a lambda fault, my 182 was the same until I change the front lambda. Then reset the trip computer and it will improve. To reset turn on ignition while holding in the trip computer button on the end of the wiper stalk. Then it starts it's thing, then press the reset on the clocks.
Just to put my mind at rest but is this something I should be concernded about. On my drive home I meet a stretch of Dual Carriage way off a roundabout, so I see this as a the perfect time to give it some. Anyway as I pull hard in the revs in second I get a bit of smoke out the back at around...
