m8, did'nt even think to post it there as the link was to the funny comments attached to the advert not the advert its self. If this is all you have to moan about your life must be a little dull atm.
Its now in the market place in the ebay section but tbh I don't think that it is in the right...
RUK can not afford to fcuk it up, 35% of all RS sales come here. Just look at the brakes on the 197. Straight off the 225. It will not be that long before more power is put in to the car, just give it time.
Anyone for a wide bodied mk3 special with 250bhp :)
Re: Discovered my 172 is a Import
ffs, you have spent 2 wks going on about this car & asking for advise & then you collected in a hurry & forgot all about the checks. Do people ever learn?
I hope that you get it sorted mate but you would have been in a much better position before you handed...
For a friend of a friend I thought a link to a cheap 172 would be helpful

You should look to borrow from a bank / loans company if you can. Usually better rate & you do not get hit the the 43rd rule (I think this is the name of it) where they load all the interest at the start of the agreement on to the loan so if you do want to clear it early you can owe more than...
I would tell them about the cup packs tbh. If you explain that it is a factory fit option you should not have a problem. If you do, get a decent insurance co / broker who knows what you are talking about.

if they can find a way of not paying out they will. Hopefully he will learn from this & 'get round' to declaring all mods. If I was from the insurance co I would be looking not to pay out & I bet they know every trick in the book.
Whip it off quick & throw the old airbox in the space.
I have T8 _ _ _ (my initials) on one of my cars, £250 all in from the DVLA site. for that cost I recon it's worth it as I can transfer when I change cars. V6 _ _ _ would look good I recon at the right price & you can transfer to any other car with out it looking out of place although on the V6...
go on then, you lot put the cash in & I will get mine done :D
BBR have a very good rep in the car tunning world iirc so I don't think that they would quote figures lightly.
I would consider the remap & cat back system on their own tbh (have an ITG panel filter already). I am sure that this...
I was thinking that. If you are desperate for a piss the last thing do would be to reverse park???. straight in front first (across 2 bays of course ;) ) & off to pee.
he prob had the arse because you did not buy anything and pee'd up his wall :D
You should ask for the empty bottles back. I know that they might decant it but that is more trouble for them. I provide the oil for my cars & always get the emptys back, usually with a little left for top ups as well :thumb:
re checking the oil. The only way is a lab test, it can be done but...
I recon, do your knuckles scrape on the ground then :D lol
I am 6 foot so I wounder if that is the problem. It really felt un-natural having to lean towards the gear stick :(
From the cat back they have a 1 year warrenty (cat has 3 yrs) More than a few have been replaced so get it sorted now by the nice dealer.
Mine has been checked as it was noisy but it was bad alignment. If & when it gives up I am going to get a nice aftermarket s/steel cat back system as 1) it...
lol :D
I had one one mine when I got the car, it sat to low down & you had to reach for it. Soon came off & replaced for standard stick. Much nicer to drive now imho.
